   Months ago, I installed Microsoft Teams on my computer because a specific project used it. It is the only Microsoft Software I have on there (a Mac and I use OpenOffice instead of Microsoft Office).

   As that project winds down, is there _any_ reason not to find and remove all Microsoft stuff from my machine? It’s updater alone weirdly wants to update itself every week it seems.

   Also, what’s the best way to do so?

     @davidaugust Any specific reason you're still using OpenOffice? It's had no major update since 2014, and despite rare minor updates, now has many unfixed security problems and "red" risk status from Apache itself: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apache_OpenOffice#Security – Virtually all development in the last decade moved to successor projects, still free and open source, but with vital security fixes.

     @libreoffice excellent question (and excellent software evangelism). Upon reflection, your words, and looking into it, I think transitioning from OpenOffice to LibreOffice is now a task for this week (possibly later today). Thank you!
