"Ancient instinct" theory is silly. You wouldn't think such things if you actually read up on the topic and talked to women who went through this. It's very common, and it doesn't always end badly.

Again, there's nothing unique about the stressors. Women just want something they think men can't challenge, just like they myths surrounding the right to abortion, vaginas, etc. Women need to stfu. They're not special.

There are a lot of factors involved before and after pregnancy. I think most men in general, even women, don't realize how much pregnancy actually entails.
It doesn't matter if the father is present or if a woman has a support system, subsets of post partum mood disorders are common. It's just that nobody gave a fuck until this case made them experts on the topic...

And note, I'm not saying child birth and raising children isn't hard or stressful. I have three, I work from home, we homeschool. I'm aware. Nonetheless, it's not some special women's issue other than we have to hear about it, which is really a men's issue. 😏
