   I am once again begging local businesses to not require a Facebook login in order to learn absolutely anything about said businesses. And yes, it happened again: a cool local vintage store seems to exist exclusively on Instagram.

     then a few years later they burn out and close down as no ones buying their stuff. I see this happen all the time round my way and quite often I never heard about the business (until it closed down) *because* they only used Meta assets to publicise it (I deleted all my Meta accounts about a year ago)

     @xgranade so many times a small creator posts some gorgeous art for sale, and then links to their IG account for more info.
     Sorry friend, but if you post your work in a walled garden that I can't access, I also can't buy your art.
