   Ah yes, my post is trending because one trending post bot decided one boost was significant, and then ten other trending post bots snowballed it. Excellent, this is exactly how things should work.

     @ryanc I’ve noticed that those trending bots don’t generally drag a lot of eyeballs to my post. It appears that they’re just bringing your content into the main feed of smaller instances.

     OTOH, @catsalad boosting one of my posts leads to major engagement.
