     @Hoss It was a fucking dangerous bird. The USCG tried out a smaller version and tried landings on the back of a high endurance cutter. Fucked the helo pad up.
     
     They were looking into this back in the mid 80's. The problem is they could not hover in high winds/storms where most rescues take place. Cooler head prevailed
