     Yeah with investment casting. I've done a lot of it with 3d prints as the investment mold. Nothing that big though of course.

     I was only really familiar with sand molds for casting
     I obviously dont have the space to pull something like that (if ever tbh)

     I've done sand molds as well but they kind of suck tbqh. I've used it to make a tool for releasing pressure on hydraulic hoses and a couple other small stuff that doesn't matter.
     
     You can get great results from investment casting though and cleanup isn't bad. You just need a vaccuum chamber and a way to burn out the plastic - a toaster oven might be able to do it, and then a way to melt the metal.
     
     I was looking into 'shell' investment casting as well but it kind of takes a lot more specialized equipment that I just don't have the time or space or money for at the moment.
     
     If I get it set back up anytime soon I'll do a video for you. I did have some videos up on GabTV of casting when it was still a thing.

     @pyrate i mean yeah u could use that but tbh if you dont already have klipper up and running (which requires an sbc board seperate from your mainboard) its not really that realistic
     
     that being said I do want to make one in the future on my ender3 that ive modded back into working

     When I was running klipper, it was on an old rugged laptop that I dug out of the trash and had no screen.
     
     I'm glad that when I gave away my delta (protip: Never buy a delta) I just bought a duetWifi. infinitely easier than fighting an 8 bit micro.
