@dlakelan I don't think installing alternative operating systems is most people's cup of tea; especially when some apps that people might need won't work anymore because Google has started to lock things down more.

The first thing GrapheneOS does is asking people to choose between "WebUSB or command line".
These are two terms that likely mean nothing or worse are actively discouraging to anyone who isn't technical.
This is what I mean.

Very true, but if people begin to value privacy or to not be controlled by a big corp, then they may change their cup of tea. Perhaps esp if we help them with the hard bits.
