“Courage is knowing it might hurt & doing it anyway. Stupidity is the same & that’s why is hard.”

    Revised:
Courage is knowing it might hurt (from prior experience/knowledge) & doing it anyway.
Stupidity is “believing it hurts other people but NOT them” & doing it anyway.

Life is hard for everyone, especially those that don’t accept that “earth physics” applies to them and flabbergasted by “earth physics” surprises.

      “Key takeaways:
      - Mid-level engineers are subsidizing everyone else’s AI productivity – and burning out for it.
      - The warning signs are there if you look closely: the invisible validator problem is probably already in motion.
      - The ‘fix’ is making oversight explicit. The engineers burning out today were meant to become your senior leaders tomorrow.” - https://leaddev.com/ai/ai-productivity-is-burning-out-your-best-engineers

‘as AI companies are starting to charge based on token-usage not simply a flat subscription, many of their customers are shocked at the bill. "Companies are scrambling to stop spending so much on AI," as 404 Media reports.-https://www.404media.co/the-tokenpocalypse-is-here-companies-are-scrambling-to-stop-spending-so-much-on-ai/

These are businesses that moved fixed-cost to variable-subscription- cost and are “surprised” they can no longer afford essential service price increase. What did they think would happen?

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that a lot of companies smarting from the increasing costs of AI tokens might start to look for cheaper alternatives, and that those alternatives increasingly are going to come from our adversaries. As we start to care more about our software supply chain risks, seems like it's also getting more challenging for organizations to understand the provenance of the AI code they are relying on. From a CNBC story about how lawmakers are trying to figure out how to curb the growing adoption of Chinese AI models by homegrown companies: "Cursor, which will be acquired by Elon Musk's SpaceX for $60 billion, built its Composer 2 model using Chinese AI model Kimi, which was developed by Moonshot AI." https://www.cnbc.com/2026/07/08/chinese-ai-models-probe-us-lawmakers.html

So the AI business “model” is:
      1. NOT HIRING 📉 juniors to create human candidates for the specialists & experts with work experience.
      2. BURNING OUT ☢️ mid-level engineers, hardware (prices rising), infrastructure consumed unsustainably (water & electricity) to make everyone “addicted” to AI-LLM word & sentence calculator.
      3. PUSHING OUT 📉 experienced senior-level engineers who advise & set tech strategy for “the business”.

This is the “Kodak” & “Boeing” business downfall case studies combined.
