@ryo I may have shared about Pluton before, an implementation much like Intel ME but Microsoft’s own flavor of CPU circuitry rootkit. It is the wetdream of all DRM jockeys.
@fugger It is why the industry is pushing so hard to have these isolated “enclaves”. This guy has a good breakdown on it.

Pluton is very harmful tho. It restricts the user from extracting DRM keys from the hardware, this technology is designed to keep the user from copying things like video games with DRM enabled.
What Pluton can't do however is detect copyright infringement on random files.
