    Sigh. Another repost because I can't get myself to check the visibility level of posts...

    I agree with Staniland, this is nearly Matrix-level display of dodging.

    But not only does Gilly refuse to answer the question, as Staniland points out, they also are pretending that communal dressing rooms without individual lockable changing cubicles do not exist.

    Now I don't know about the UK, been ages since I went and didn't spend much time in changing rooms anyway. But here on the continent and in the Nordics communal dressing rooms in gyms, pools, and other such facilities very much exist and most of the time there are no individual lockable cubicles.

    This Gilly character pretending that such obvious reality does not exist and therefore Staniland's question is dishonest baiting is in itself either dishonesty or staggering ignorance.

    The replies after this post are also worth reading, there Gilly pivots to "you just want to exclude Trans" instead of refusing to answer the question and pretending real conditions don't exist. And then climbing on a moral high horse over that.

      It's always interesting to watch someone try to dodge this question; this one is especially fascinating because @22_Gilly claims to care very, very much about Safeguarding, yet cannot (or will not) tell us whether male adults should have access to female communal changing rooms.

      @Gnomeshatecheese @helenstaniland I really don't understand why they can't just say that they're happy to let men into women's changing rooms. It would be quicker.
      I wonder if they think the obfuscation makes them look clever.

      @KeepTakingTheSoma @helenstaniland I think they on some level understand how that would make them sound.

      Or alternately, they think that Staniland's trying to do a gotcha, even if they don't realise how the answer would make them sound, so they try to avoid answering the question.

      They're also clearly trying to pretend Staniland's question is pointless obfuscation and answering it would derail the matter.

      @Gnomeshatecheese @helenstaniland True.
      Because this stuff was smuggled in to laws, institutions etc without scrutiny, they thought we'd just go along with it, especially if they attached it to a popular cause. They knew that once we started to examine it closely, it would look like an ill-thought out mess at best and a perverts charter at worst.
      But when you want to defend something and get public support there are three routes; convince everyone it's a good thing, make opposition intolerable, or make them do it by force.
      I guess what we're seeing is the last gasp of the activists doing the second and our globalist overlords doing the third. Because I've yet to see anyone able to do the first.
