I don't know if these examples are actually correct. But some semantic dilution likely does take place. We're screwed with in more ways than we realize, esp now with AI in the mix.

@grey “Dubai Chocolate“ was supposedly a semantic dilution to cover up all the stories of instathots being paid huge sums of money to fly to Dubai and engage in sex acts involving 💩

@grey BTW flying 2 minutes to save a 25 minute car ride is literally the point of having a private jet. Proud of her for getting her money’s worth.

@BowsacNoodle @grey the thing that irks me about swift is that she acts like she's just this silly girl that doesn't know anything and the industry took advantage of her
while her dad is in the biz and they know exactly what they're doing

@ins0mniak @grey I’ve never had it. I love pistachios, but I don’t want to pay $10 for some type of nonsense meme chocolate.

@bajax @grey It was a known thing that “instagram models” were traveling to Dubai. The stories started coming out about 💩ing on their chests or vice versa. It was not isolated to weird places of the internet; normies were talking about Dubai being full of weirdos.

@BowsacNoodle @grey (not making a comment on whether it's plausible just why it spread lol-- I'd have no trouble believing third worlders love putting shit on westerners as a kind of power thing)

@BowsacNoodle @ins0mniak @grey I was given some, it's just pistachio butter filled chocolate, super tasty, but not revolutionary or anything, but does have the transformative property the same as peanutbutter does from peanuts.

@BowsacNoodle @ins0mniak @grey It's decent, but definitely not worth the price or worth making at home.
