     @thomasfuchs "cold temperatures make you sick" is a myth that needs to die.

     People working at arctic research stations don't get sick despite spending a lot of time in close contact with their team and working in extreme cold. They often DO get sick as soon as they rotate out and go back home.

     @glyph @thomasfuchs European here, love AC, don’t have AC because of stupid rules. Apartments I live in were built in 2020, instead of planing a central AC we’ve got … a ventilation system pushing air from outside 🤦♂️
     The heatwave until 2 days ago was terrible. Bad sleep, everyone grumpy and getting a proper AC requires hard to get approvals. Fun fact: Vienna is sold out on mobile AC. All gone, every shop in the city is sold out 😂
