   Is https://socialhub.activitypub.rocks running the latest version of the AP Discourse plugin? Is that still being worked on? Really sorta important part of fediverse that needs a lot of work, it's still seems very half baked.

     @liaizon No, I don't even get a notification.

     I think all followable actors should have a followers collection (could be private). If this collection is not present, the software can show a warning.

     @silverpill @angus ah weird I completely didn't get that. so you do get a notification of a mention on that account tho? I guess we really need a way to signal an account is not following-able for this to make sense so mastodon can disable the button on actors that can't be followable

     @liaizon Discourse doesn't support following individual users. Only categories can be followed.

     @angus was against adding such feature but maybe this will be re-considered in the future.

     Yes, it was updated recently. I was also granted admin rights so now I can tweak federation settings if necessary.

     Yes, but the development has slowed down.
