   My #emfcamp talk was not accepted. It seems like they give preference to talks submitted earlier, and if that's the case I wish they'd be explicit about it.

   I guess I'll submit to 40c3.

   I'm still a bit salty about being asked to submit a specific talk proposal two years ago then having it rejected.

     @ryanc we don't *intentionally* give preference to earlier submissions, but we suspect there is some unavoidable effect due to the way the review process works (this could do with further study). We do say this!

     @ryanc I think that was actually planned for this year but it's been rather hectic and a lot of plans went out of the window...
