   @xyhhx @dalias @LeoKirke @ajroach42 I *really* miss when my email just consulted the contacts built into my OS (or one that I designated). Having multiple contact programmes is not helping me.

     @OrionKidder @xyhhx @LeoKirke @ajroach42 The problem with that is that mobile operating systems decided they should leak your contacts list to any malicios app that wants them, originally without any way to block that, then without adequate compartmentalization.

     @OrionKidder @xyhhx @LeoKirke @ajroach42 Each thing having to keep its own contacts list is awful, but until host systems get their act together and properly compartmentalize access to shared storage, it's the lesser evil. 😫
