   @LeoKirke @ajroach42 This is *probably* the case where the Swiss government forced them to give up information on a user, something they really are not in a position to refuse because they are a small company.

   I use Proton Mail. I might switch away--because it's more privacy than I need, honestly--but not because they complied with the law where they live.

     @OrionKidder @LeoKirke @ajroach42 No, their CEO is very blatantly fash. That incident (not fighting for the user before folding) was one small part of it.

     @OrionKidder @LeoKirke @ajroach42 He's publicly praised Trump and they sponsored video for a far right YouTube channel. I don't have the links handy but they shouldn't be hard to find.
