I only finished the new ones. I thought in the original her death was the whole reason he had the white marks on him; like it was made from the ashes of his family? .. or was that a different wife?

Still, I don't like the trailer or her as a main character. She's dead and her story should be over. I was expecting the 3rd game to be Atreus to be the main character and the story be about his journey at first, and then his father coming back in later.
