   I honestly think I could be allergic to the surgical glue they used over top of my dissolving stitches. Maybe I'm allergic to the steri strip adhesive instead?

     I kicked a stick when we moved here on accident and my right foot has a wicked pink scar. For some reason my skin always scars super brightly. Takes forever to darken up

     I feel that. I had bad acne as a teen and it scarred pretty bad. It’s mostly faded now, but pale skin shows up EVERYTHING. it’s annoying.

     Sounds like you’re allergic. And really one adhesive compared to another won’t be much different so it makes sense you could be allergic to both.

     It’s okay. There are lots of options for softening and diminishing scars once you’re healed up. And scars look cool anyways as long as they aren’t on the face.

     I actually have a scar on my face! It’s really not noticeable though cuz a plastic surgeon stitched me up. :animu_laugh:

     Oh well that’s probably very minor. I was thinking more like when someone gets bit by a dog in the face. It can be a bad scar. My skin scars pretty easily, but they do fade in time.

     My hand and wrist have a rash and the incision itself is all crusty looking now. I sent a followup photo to my doctor. When I'm able I'll call the clinic and see what they think. I told them I'm allergic to adhesive :Christchan_shrug: the nurse asked what my allergy to Bacitracin is and I'm like "I get hives. It's a real allergy. I saw an allergist and was tested and have a formal diagnosis" :bocchi_ahhhh: they said they'd use a different topical so I wonder if I could be reacting to that too. Idk I'm kind of miserable today.
