What are we feeling for the Direct tomorrow boys?

I think OoT remake is a given but I also think they'll announce a new Zelda game. With the movie coming in hot next year they'll probably want to capitalize on that as much as possible. It could also be the WWHD/TPHD ports but I think something original would be apt so it isn't so heavy on remakes/remasters.

I think they'll talk a bit more about Star Fox as well. Maybe some Mario Kart updates and perhaps even what is next for Smash Bros.

The Smash bross is facing the same size creep as X games.

You can not just release a sequel until the old game is completely burned out. You can not just add more game anymore, since the old game had reached that size.

@xianc78 the smash bros development cycle is actually surprisingly short, but a lot of it does rely on reused stuff. Though, I don't think we are getting a brand new one just yet. I don't know what's going to happen but Nintendo does know that smash is one of their biggest console sellers. I feel like something smash related is right around the corner. Every console since 64 has had a smash game and they usually come out within 2 years of the launch of the console. Switch 2 has been out for a year already. So, you know. I feel like it's close.

Star Fox 64 and Ocarina of Time have enhanced ports on the 3DS. They're literally the same code (obviously patched up) but with new assets. I wish they brought them over to the Switch much earlier. That's kind of too late now, I think. Ocarina of Time is a remake people have clamored for almost as much as FF7. I think it deserves one and could benefit greatly from it. It could also be completely fucked, but I'm trying not to put that energy out into the world and I generally trust Nintendo to do a good job.

I hope not. Both OOT and SF64 already have 3DS remakes that can easily be ported over (albeit without the 2nd screen or stereoscopic 3D of course).

      >perhaps even what is next for Smash Bros.

I think that's way too early, I think Sakurai needs to find a way to move Smash in a different direction since topping Ultimate is out of the question. I think they'll pull a Mario Kart Word and change the gameplay (maybe having the stages be fully 3D planes), but I bet it's still in the planning stages given that Air Riders was only released last year.

@LukeAlmighty @xianc78 yeah it's quite the conundrum and i can see it going several different ways. i don't know what they're going to do but i'm pretty sure they're going to do something and we'll know about it soon.
