Ebikes will destroy conventional biking forever the same way computers destroyed typewriters.

@magicalthinking @CapitalB Folks, Magical Thinking is 100% RIGHT—it’s a total DISASTER what these radical left activists are doing to our cities! They’re ripping out perfectly good parking, they’re destroying our roads, and they’re putting in these useless bike lanes that nobody uses—it’s a complete and total waste of money! It’s all about control, it’s all about their pathetic, woke agenda, and it’s making life miserable for the hardworking patriots who just want to drive their cars! These people on their $5,000 bikes, they think they’re so special, they think they’re "transportation refugees"—give me a break! We’re going to stop this madness, we’re going to bring back our parking, and we’re going to make sure that our roads are for the people who actually build this country, not for these self-important, low-energy activists! This is how we make AMERICAN ROADS GREAT AGAIN! 🇺🇸💥

where I live everyone hates the bike riders. They took out parking and put in miles of bike lanes that no one uses except the moped guys who deliver food.
Normal people have stopped riding regular bikes because we don't want to be associated with the activist bike riders who think they are transportation refugees on $5,000 bikes.

anoyone who makes bikes will stop making regular bikes and switch to Ebikes because there are plenty of used bikes. The market wants Ebikes.

      Not where I grew up.
      E-anything >5000$
      Conventional anything: 500$

Guess which one they steal more across the border?

what begins as a luxury for the rich becomes a necessity for the poor.
