@rusty__shackleford @Paradox okay so i'm not the only one who misread it. the point is that the name of the gate in the rashomon story comes from the noh play, but the plot of the story has nothing to do with the noh play -

Looking at the wiki…
…So, "Rashōmon (羅生門)", is a short story and the gate in the short story is named after the Noh play Rashōmon (c. 1420)??
