     @minmi @cassey @b one time my friend and I decided to do a coming out party. everyone had known for a decade about the both of us but came anyway because they thought we had decided to come out as a straight. We had to explain that we had just procrastinated for a decade

     @b @skinnylatte it’s at least a common joke among queer parents that someday the kids might have to come out as straight to us. As long as they don’t bring home any reactionaries/conservatives, we don’t care.

     @skinnylatte I don’t think anyone should have to justify their sexuality to anyone else, but I especially don’t want to be subjected to someone’s justification for being straight when there really aren’t people out there oppressing straight folks. Just maybe we should sit this out.
