     @slipgate I'm seriously considering developing in a VM, because at this point you can't be certain that someone won't loose their mind over what you are doing with their project or even what you have installed on you system. I don't think that projects being malicious because the maintainer doesn't like a piece of software installed on your system won't become reality in recent times if this is already normalized. And it sort of already is normalized when you look through AGENTS.md/CLAUDE.md of projects maintained by highly opinionated maintainers.
