    It is easier to open a box of cockroaches and let them loose in your house than it is to catch them all and remove them.

      @Sovereign
      I follow the immigration moves and see it finally going back in the right direction. Of course it was so bad that I don't know if we can recover from what has been done.

      The state of Mass Deportations so far:

      800k direct deportations by ICE, CBP (https://www.cbsnews.com/news/asylum-seekers-abandon-cases-as-third-country-deportations/) plus 80k voluntary departures from court (https://archive.is/R1xcc)and 70k self-returns using CBP Home (https://www.cnn.com/2026/03/18/us/dhs-self-deport-project-homecoming-invs). 100k visas revoked (https://www.reuters.com/legal/government/trump-administration-has-revoked-over-100000-visas-state-department-says-2026-01-12/); 1.5m legal statuses slated for termination (https://www.npr.org/2025/12/22/nx-s1-5652134/how-the-trump-administration-stripped-legal-status-from-1-6-million-immigrants). Removal orders filed (https://tracreports.org/whatsnew/email.260506.html) and denaturalization requests (https://t.me/PracticalPolitics/4669) remain at an historic high pace. Net entry and approval through lawful and unlawful paths down (https://t.me/PracticalPolitics/4311)in practically every way (https://t.me/PracticalPolitics/4535).

        Thousands of asylum-seekers abandon their cases as ICE seeks to deport them to nations they aren't from
        from @juliaingram_
        More than 12,000 people gave up their asylum claims or voluntarily departed the U.S. as ICE moved to cut cases short by sending asylum-seekers to third countries, a CBS News analysis found.

        How the Trump administration stripped legal status from 1.6 million immigrants : Consider This from NPR
        The Trump administration has removed over 600,000 people without legal status from the U.S. through deportation this year, according to the Department of Homeland Security.The Trump administration has also been busy revoking legal status for immigrants who entered the country through legal pathways -- affecting at least 1.6 million people -- by canceling programs and protections like CBP One, Temporary Protected Status, humanitarian parole and student visas.That legal limbo means they too now fear the constant threat of deportation.NPR's Sergio Martinez-Beltran and Ximena Bustillo recap the largest effort to delegalize immigrants in U.S. history.For sponsor-free episodes of Consider This, sign up for Consider This+ via Apple Podcasts or at plus.npr.org.Email us at considerthis@npr.org.This episode was produced by Vincent Acovino, with audio engineering by Ted Mebane. An Appeal To Pragmatism
        Denaturalization is historically rare. Between 1990-2017 — 27 years — there were only 305 cases filed. Trump I did 170 in 4 yrs, and I count up to 90 in 15 months of Trump II, with 380+ planned so far per NYT. President Trump's DOJ is effectively trying to achieve decades of denaturalization a year.

        Legal immigration is sinking, illegal migration is flowing out; the border is being walled off and asylum is being reversed. Self-departure hit well past historic highs and removal orders are the majority outcome in courts. Visa revocation and legal status termination are explicit U.S. policy now. White Papers lists their thoughts on some of Trump's wins and how we can take it farther for the future: https://whitepapersinstitute.substack.com/p/the-great-immigration-reversal-trumps

        More great news from CATO: USCIS under President Trump has cut green card approval in half so far; refugee green card approval is down 99%. ICE arrests now outpace family-sponsored green cards approvals. More immigrants are being arrested than are being accepted in various legal categories.This is not an accidental trend and not an accomplishment we would have ever reached without supporting Trump.

      Among the masses you find cowardice and ignorance. So when I look at this, I think he must be doing some things right. I hate the Jew wars but like the change in direction of immigration policy. If someone were to ask me if I approve of him, I could not give a binary answer.
