   @dalias my plex is a) audiobooks from libro and b) shows from blurays. Jellyfin unfortunately doesn't come close to working with the second reasonably

     @dalias i think their origin is weird, especially since it all came out of xbmc, but they are unparalleled for user sharing and watch/listened tracking (unfortunately). When it comes to being able to loan something out to a friend, it’s pretty much this or sending them a file, so I think their present day usecases make a lot of sense, even as they pivot to being an ad supported streamer
