The correct way to do that is of course to price all the things that are currently externalities into the price of water and power — which will happen approximately when hell is 2000 years into an ice age.

I doubt that it's possible to get anything close to accurate estimates, but it sure would be interesting to figure out a "power/water used per token" based on which model someone uses. Most folks obviously wouldn't give a shit and just use whatever is the big number does goodest, but it'd still be interesting - is this model twice as bad? 4 times as bad? 10 times as bad?
