     eh .. I like my music to sound good. I bought a pair of Sennheiser HD1s like this one back in 2018. The original ear pads did start to fall apart, but they are easily replaceable and plenty of online stores make replacements.
     
     They still work great. I was using them today in the grocery store, and I also use them whenever I go into the office. They still have great battery life, even though they use the older micro-USB to charge.
     
     I also have a pair of Sennheiser earbuds which were my go-to on the train, but now that I no longer live in a big city I just use them when I mow the lawn.
     
     I think it's better to pay more with stuff that have good warranties or available parts that last a long time, than cheap stuff that has to keep getting replaced. :blobcatshrug:

     I buy the cheapest ones possible for that reason. That and earbuds are easy to lose. $14 from Walmart, still going strong.
