     @meeper@udongein.xyz I mean at least it is accurate. Personally I don't really approve changing the name of a series for localization purposes. Just call the thing by the name that it is called.

     @meeper@udongein.xyz But yeah these extremely long lightnovel names really suck if nobody has made a short version of it.
     
     Like "Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!" is just called "KonoSuba", in the localization as well.
     
     Also acceptable to me is have the localized title includes the original name as well, such as "Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation".

     @SuperDicq Eh I don't mind good, good faith localisation, titles could be translated to better fit the series or provide an alternative if there isnt a close equivalent which need not be literal.
     
     I am on the fence but towards the negative of adapting names, but tbh a good localisation is partially closer to a fanfiction which closely traces the original plot (not quite an accurate comparison tho)
     
     Kinda makes me sad that these are looked down upon in concept due to opinionated assholes and shitty corporate ones but with a good person it's always better (example AoaB wirh quof)
