Hot take? Every editable text field should be an Emacs buffer. I don't want your semi-arsed Emacs keybindings, I want the full thing.

Why stop there?Emacs is practically an OS unto itself, so why not make every text field a separate virtual operating system? It boots when displayed. Its initial text appears to it as ROM. Mouse and keyboard events appear to it as network traffic; this is also how it publishes changes to its content. Now every text field in a form can panic independently!

@inthehands @jwz This sounds like fun, but impractical. If you want the hack value, go for it!
As for me, I just want to edit text in style. That's the problem I'd like to solve.
