@histoire3 @e4 Or, to put it in other words, I should be learning a conlang right now to teach my kids (implying) -

To the shock of nobody
I also appreciate it, just on a structural level -

@histoire3 @e4 I actually have a lot of respect for countries that try to make their languages prescriptive.
Except France because, being France, it's extremely fucking gay every step of the way. -

@histoire3 @e4 If you try hard enough, everything conjugates into everything. -

Should still be an adjective yeah?

I was struggling with the idea the other night, because it doesn't seem like an adjective to me at all -

@e4 Are you also using the kanjidamage deck?
>For instance oishikunakatta desu (it WAS NOT delicious)
🤔 This one is throwing me for a loop, because it *sounds* fine enough (dunno if I've seen a native speaker actually say that) but, AFAIK, everything after the ku is the verb, so you've effectively got double desu [suiseiseki intensifies]...?

I'n now using Anki to learn Japanese (thanks @Zergling_man for the great suggestion)
So now I'm learning a lot of things in a relatively short time
And to my surprise today I realized that in Japanese the adjective are conjugated
The verb stays the same, " -desu", and the adjective takes the verbal form
For instance oishikunakatta desu (it WAS NOT delicious)
Unbelievable
