   @KaraLG84 I started improving my US English pronunciation with the BoldVoice app last year and was appalled to learn that they are pronounced the same.

   And that it’s not even a d sound, but even less than a d, without touching the roof of the mouth and without aspiration or whatever it’s called.

     American English Eloquence but differentiating between d and t in the middle of words.
     This brought to you by me hearing the word riding as writing in a post because they sound the bloody same.
