   Proxmox is amazing, and I've spent the day setting up the new dedicated server that will soon power a dozen fediverse platforms, sites and services.

   DigitalOcean was easy, but expensive, and I've been subsidizing hosting costs when we could have moved to a dedicated server earlier.

   But when you wear many hats, you need to adapt.

   And I have 😎 🌱 🚀

     Yes, backup plans are good, and so is having trusted partners for when you might need a break from your burning the candle at both ends...

     @thomasdorr @selea trusted partners are good, but a track record of 8 years with 99.99% uptime is better.

     Not everyone burns out. And not everyone can do this much either. It is what it is.

     Also check out Proxmox Backup server - quite good :)
