    @enigmatico i'm waiting for this [MR](https://activitypub.software/TransFem-org/Sharkey/-/merge_requests/1256) more or less, which probably will solve many things. the repeating messages and or messages appearing in wonky times are probably related to real-time updates on timelines. i tried to mitigate as much as i can in terms of performance and still trying to tweak some things here, but its a bit difficult to balance. anyhow, i may switch that that MRs branch this week, if its possible. sorry for the time being RE: My timeline is wonky and the whole site feels sluggish and irresponsive. Fedi is not working properly ever since the update. (Yes, I've seen the notice, but it's beyond repeating messages. Also just as I'm writting those lines I just saw a message I posted a few minutes ago pop into my timeline lol) I guess @puniko and the devs are working on everything? (No pressure, I ask just to confirm if we're on the same page, specially in the performance side of things)

  @starlight @sleepybisexual it seems only to happen on posts from local users. and federation is not affected. and it almost certainly has to do with some weird bug in streaming api which is used for real-time updates of timelines.

  @puniko Tbh a failed DB migration is what killed one of the previous instances I was on and made it impossible to move to another instance, so it makes me a bit nervous that you switched to the dev branch... :LappyWorried:
