:02Calc: For now I've just left everything as default and used whatever live chat that Owncast comes with out of the box-- I haven't researched it at all, or for that matter what options exist within OBS.

I've been streaming a bit with #Owncast and #OBSStudio and also recording the same video to use as VODs. But those video files of course don't include any kind of live chat replay.

Is there a way to make some format of self-hosted VODs available with live chat replay?

I just set up domains, dyndns, and Nginx reverse proxy for a handful of services, and #NixOS made it so easy to get working! (Not to mention how easy it was to set up those services in the first place!)
