   I've always been a detractor of fantasy entertainment, but not out of a sense of religion. I've found it beneath an adult's intellect to dwell in it. But the older I get the easier it becomes to see what an effective lever to shift young minds to something inhuman it is.

   It is what explains this spectacle, nonetheless. Its origins and its intent.

     @PNS there is good fantasy too, those that through allegory exposes the foundational existence of good and evil, and sometimes the act of divorcing the story from the propaganda and brainwashing common amongst all modern minds allows the author to shed light on truths that people have been taught to ignore.

     In other words, it’s not all bad.

     Classically fiction was considered an essential element. See: Beowulf, Iliad, Odyssey, etc…
