    @GreenRoc If you are on KDE Plasma, alt + enter will bring up krunner. Type "explorer" and it should get you there. (You'll see whatever web browsers you have installed, and then one that looks like file explorer's icon)

    I just checked on mine, typing "paint" in to krunner had similar results - showing a few programs that would serve the purpose of MS Paint.

    Delightfully, if you don't have one of the results installed, it'll say "Get [program name]", which will bring you there.

      @GreenRoc If you ARE using KDE Plasma, I highly recommend exploring krunner.
      I barely ever touch my launcher ("Start Menu") and just do everything via krunner.
      alt + enter, type the thing you want.

      In krunner (at least on my machine),
      "word" or "word processor" = LibreOffice Writer
      "email" = kmail
      "notes" = KleverNotes and MarkNote

      Plus it can spell check, show definitions, find files, do simple math, and even kill stuck apps.

      @GreenRoc Your mention of Dolphin suggest you are most likely using KDE Plasma as yor desktop. Hold the alt key and hit the spacebar. This should bring up krunner. (The first time you use it, it may take quite a while to appear. It'll be much faster after that.)
      Mine appears at the top, I think the default was center. If you click the settings button on it, there's a button in there called "Configure Enabled Search Plugins". That's where you can add (or remove) stuff it can do.

      @GreenRoc On the plug-ins config page, there's an "Add new" button near the top right. That's where you can look through the collection of plugins to install. Just don't go crazy all at once. Try one or two new ones at a time.
