     @Zergling_man it took 5 hours to compile the kernel, 1 to compile wine and 6 to compile firefox
     
     I use firefox instead of chrome because I think chrome can take weeks to compile

     My experience with kernel building was that with a core2duo it took between 1 and 2 hours, same for laptop 2016 APU.
     What does take 6+hours is LLVM/GCC.
     Even FF I got to build it within 2 hours, I do not know how people are able to do worse.

     @mangeurdenuage @installgentoo @Zergling_man LLVM can take 6 hours.
     
     GCC with only the few languages you're using takes is 1-2 hours.

     @installgentoo @Zergling_man You don't modularize ? Tbh in 2016 I couldn't do <2MB kernel for desktops at best it was between 4~5MB.
