   I tried reading Mishima again (this time The Sailor Who Fell From Grace With The Sea), but couldn't finish it.

   I guess it's just not for me. I always find it hard to separate art from the artist, but even if I didn't hate what Mishima stood for, I'd still have hated this book (or at least, what I've read of it). 🤷

     @kojinmanus it's probably just me 😊. I think I maybe subconsciously don't want to like any of his books, but I honestly found this one quite horrible. And I know this is intentional, but I just got to a point where I thought "actually, I don't want to read any more of this"... A bit like American Psycho years ago, to me.

     @mario Interesting. Haven't read it in a while, but loved it when I did. I agree it's difficult to seperate the art from the artist, but on the other hand I can't lie when I actually do enjoy a novel by someone like Mishima.
