  @fknretardlol @zerohedge I have somebody IRL asking me for a very large loan and even though I really like her and enjoy her company I don't believe I can justify it to myself because if the insane volatility in the dollar, in markets for oil and stuff etc. I am worried about the value in crypto as well

  @eee @fknretardlol @Doll @zerohedge when I was first talking to her about it and she asked me (keep in mind she is european) she was like "If you help us you can't hate me" and I laughed and I was like "what do you even mean" and her daughter happened to be walking by at the time and she goes "well why don't we ask the last two men" and since that day I have been concerned about it. but yeah I don't think I can talk myself into it if I wanted to

  @wd_5x5 @eee @fknretardlol @Doll @zerohedge Yes there would be lawyers involved. But I am not convinced enough yet that I feel unequivocally certain about the situation and it felt like I was being forced into a decision today so that didn't help. But I spoke to my sister about it and she told me somebody isn't being honest with me about the situation (she's been in the exact same situation) and my experience with her is her daughter who lied to me any time she got caught in something. So thats kind of eating away at me, too

  @wd_5x5 @eee @fknretardlol @Doll @zerohedge Well I would profit from it. The loan would be repaid in three years when she wants to sell her house with interest. That was the verbal agreement when talking about it. This was just a stop gap to pay somebody out of a mortgage for a couple years

If it's not a trusted friend or business partner you've known for years it's just not worth the risk. Especially if you stand to gain no profit from it.
