     This is pretty interesting. I found out that this recent piece by Žižek has been translated to German by Der Freitag.

     So what did they do with Žižek's bizarre claim that the US is an Israeli coloni? Well, they simply redacted that part away. 🤷♀️

     @rasmusfleischer ugh. big yikes on all accounts, and truthfully yet another reminder for why i've almost entirely stopped paying attention to the žiž, i just can't bear his half-informed (well, at least this one didn't start with the near-obligatory "a friend recently told me..." lede!?) attention-grabbing and sometimes plainly butthurt (dunking on metoo in this context, really?) claims-for-clicks anymore. his fame has not benefitted his writing, unfortunately.

     @rasmusfleischer on a sidenote, it's interesting to me how saudi arabi and mbs's role in this war are being completely swept under the carpet by pretty much everyone. sure, they deny having urged trump to attack, but it seems like also the mollahs do not fully believe them.
