     IKR? What message are prosecutors, judges and politicians sending if the children are literal objects in these situations while extensive effort is made to humanize their abusers? Because we all know that any retribution will be diluted with undeserved pathos for the misunderstood women.

     I think society erred by not publishing the identities of victims due to the nature of the crime of factors like age.

     It's too easy to move on without the victim being humanized.

     One of the things I've noticed that has changed doing government surveys for 15 years is that Federal, Provincial/State and Municipal governments all refer to voters or taxpayers or citizens as 'customers' and interaction with any of these levels of authority is considered 'customer service.'
