Oh boy...

@radmin@limepeeps.perchinup.top His poor experience with GNU/Linux is always because he tries to use it like Windows.
To run a bunch of proprietary apps like Discord, Spotify, Teams, etc. and to play proprietary video games. All that stuff is just asking of issues.
Literally full Windows braindead proprietary computer usage expecting shit to "just work" that isn't even made with GNU/Linux in mind and can't be fixed because it is proprietary.
They should do a "Linux Challenge" series where they leave the proprietary bullcrap behind and just native and free software exclusively. Well, that would be hardly a challenge but if you did that shit would actually "just work". -

@SuperDicq@minidisc.tokyo I haven't watched his previous Linux challenge series yet, but I feel like Linus' poor experiences were mostly just because he used the shitty meme distros that got popular because they marketed to gamers
- Pop OS is getting better now (especially with COSMIC being GNOME but sensible), but the old Pop Shop is a complete meme that drains one's will to live and is literally why Linus fried his entire install from just trying to get Steam :woozy_angry:
- Manjaro Linux :lets_expire:
Hopefully he at least picks an actually good distro this time - Linux really is an awesome family of OSes, and it's just that it doesn't yet fit everyone's hardware and software needs :blobcat_wine:
