     The only reason why somebody like Hegseth would lose his mind over a corporation stating they would not participate in military mass surveillance of the US population or an automated killing, is because they are planning to do it.

     I would not go this far. - This statement, which seems veracious to me, as a deep fake would have taken a LOT of work, was issued by a "mere" "combat-unit commander," not the "Commander-in-Chief".

     That anyone would go this far on the battlefield, even knowing that quite a substiantial number of his/her (wo)men were destined to be non-Christian, is quite surprising and disturbing.
