@SuperDicq Well I guess it would be quite efficient to have a setup where the battery is only charged while the turbocharger is spooled up, as no parasitic alternator loss at low rpm's - only loss at high rpm's, when there is garbage efficiency already (but it seems flooring it regularly would be required).
It seems electricity-from-heat generators are the most popular form of alternator replacements, but it only really works out with big diesel engines where the catholic convertor gets extremely hot.-
