   Okay so from the looks of things I can tentatively upgrade this whole thing to a Lesser Happening. That is different from a true happening in that it's more of an entertaining blip on te timeline, and the world will mostly return to the antequo once it's over, but it can develop into a true happening.

   I hear the iranis fired off some ballistics at the carrier, and they were likely eyeballing it and trying out chinese targeting data to see if they could peg it. Unlikely to succeed but probably scared the hell out of the brass, and that does up the ante.

   A refinery was hit, that sounds kind of big. Maybe things will reshuffle from the fallout of iran tagging all their fairweather arab friends.

   But for now, everyone's running out the clock: *Who will run out of missiles and interceptors first? The jews? The irians? The good goys? Or... all those other brown guys? OOOOOoooooooooOOOOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhh so suspenseful! Everyone still has work tomorrow though. So let's see what happens tonight!

     @suquili So far my chips are placed more towards "nothingburger" because the zog coal-ition entered desperately short on ordnance to begin with, and there's no way to "finish the job" other than making "deals" that will not hold up in time.

     Basically this same "war" will play out a few more times until something decidedly breaks, whenever and whatever that is.

     The variables it introduces COULD lead to bigger things: Will the US start rolling up bases in the ME? Will they have the bankers on board with industrializing the home front in order to actually manufacture things in the quantities needed for imperial aims? Will the arab states shake up their relationships now that actual blood and powder is being exchanged?

     It's all the kind of stuff that moves the timeline slowly at its usual creeping pace. We're all just so excited to see HISTORY™ as we understand it, where years pass in weeks. But it's like an earthquake, lots of pressure has to build up along those faultlines for eons before it finally groans and slips to relief.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @suquili Everybody's expectations are heightened to an unrealistic degree. This isn't a nothingburger so much as it one of the series of conflicts that will make the zionist state nonviable. The fundamental issues at hand are still unresolved and will be picked up again.

     @mischievoustomato I've never seen a white girl dressed and acting like this but I HAVE seen much chubbier, darker versions IRL. They might be fun if you're into it but they always talk about the sportsnigs they "dated" in the past
