   If you ever feel like you aren’t achieving as much as you want to, just remember there are people out there who are content with having read just one book in their lives, convinced it means they know everything there is to know about the world.

   That said, try not to dwell on the fact that they’re the ones running the world right now or you might feel bad again.

   (Sorry, I clearly shouldn’t be writing inspirational posts.)

     @aral Hi Aral, I'm having an issue on Mastodon. My posts always appear as 'Quiet public' even when I select the 'Public' setting. Do you know why this is happening and how I can make my posts fully public so they reach everyone? Is this a restriction from the Mastodon team, or what? Although I don't send private messages to anyone and I abide by Mastodon's rules, I only add a few people who already support me; I don't add any strangers.

     @aral Man, if I ever feel like I'm not doing enough, it's when I think of people like you. Thanks for what you do.
     Otherwise, I'm not optimistic enough to assume that someone is running this world.
