@rogerparkinson @strypey @matt @activitypub.blog @index @john I already get alerts via the WordPress / JetPack app regarding new comments on my WordPress blog. Federated responses are the same way.

@strypey @matt @activitypub.blog @index @john when I post a blog entry (I use grav) I always toot, grab the id of the toot and edit it into the post with a 'comment here'. So my comments are all on Mastodon, I don't have to moderate comments on my blog or weed out spam. It's just a bit more fiddly than I'd like, ie going back to the post and doing the edit.
But since I hardly ever blog, and I get very few comments, it doesn't seem worth making more effort. -

A lot of people complain that when they federate their blog over AP, and people comment in the fediverse, the authors don't see notifications. Because they're buried deep in the admin interface. I haven't got my Ghost blog federating yet (watch this space), but from memory I experienced this with #Plume and #WriteFreely.
I have an idea about how to fix his.
