@thisjayx@labyrinth.zone Runs completely fine and is totally playable on my Thinkpad X200 which is from 2009 at native resolution 1280x800. Just as expected from a game that is literally a Doom mod.

@thisjayx@labyrinth.zone Don't be mislead by the Ryzen sticker, that's a joke. It's a Core2Duo.

@radmin@limepeeps.perchinup.top @thisjayx@labyrinth.zone Core2Duo will have to continue to last forever because there is no newer Intel CPU capable of running GNU Boot

@SuperDicq@minidisc.tokyo @thisjayx@labyrinth.zone Ngl, it feels like the Core 2 Duo will last forever. I remember using computers with them in the High School computer labs back around 2019, where they were faster than the Celeron-infested e-waste I had back at home. They could handle Youtube like a champ along with multiple browser tabs open, and they only struggled when I browsed on the USA Today news site (which sucks ass anyways). It also seems that they're still truckin' along as long as you have either Tiny11 or Linux on them. Smartphones and tablets will suffer the curse of the spicy pillow (or the manufacturer just says "fuck you" and ends support early), but the Core 2 Duo will continue to satisfy budding libre software nerds for years to come.
