Working outdoors in SF always seems like a good idea, then you do it, and everything flies away, no one can hear you with the wind, and the previously sunny spot you picked oscillates between uncomfortably cold and windy to annoyingly warm, every two minutes.

@skinnylatte my experience as someone who only ever visited offices in SF is that it is nice to have a rooftop patio at the office to hang out on when the sun is out. The Mozilla SF office had a rooftop patio with a *fantastic* view of the bay bridge.

There was a great little piece in Slate a million years ago about the nightmare of your coworkers saying, "Oh it's so nice, let's eat lunch outside!" He wrote that our people worked very hard for many generations to make this lovely, comfortable space, shielded from all the elements, for us to enjoy. It really resonated with me. (I'm indoorsy.)
