LOL... Is this for regular medical users? I can totally see it for people that are recreational users.
I'm a medical user and am pretty well PICKLED in THC and have total memory recall and am perfectly functional.
This isn't a perception thing on my end. I am a board gamer and participate in tournaments and extremely complex and/or long games. I consume while I do. I tend to have a very high win count. It tends to amaze and piss my opponents off.
I deal with a lot of cannabis users here in Denver, and I've experienced a 60/40 split on people who should not consume and expect to do things (60%) and the people who are totally functional medical users (40%) that drive and work and consume throughout the day.
My personal weed tolerances are crazy. This is also why I stay away from alcohol. Metabolizing both alcohol and cannabis creates totally new compounds in the liver (really fun under the right circumstances).
@jeffowski The methods of this study are detailed at the end of the article. Just from my personal experience I can say that there are some people who can concentrate better with THC. My Ex did most of her learning to become a lawyer while smoking weed. She wasn't even high, rather super focussed. But I know many more young people who gradually lost control of their life and mental health to smoking weed. Maybe you're one of those happy few. Doesn't mean your experience can generalised.
